Keywords: kitchen supplies, stainless steel knife, fork and spoon

Summary: Stainless steel is made of iron-chromium alloy mixed with some other trace elements. Because of its good metal properties and corrosion resistance than other metals, the utensils made are beautiful and durable. Therefore, more and more are used to make tableware, and gradually into the majority of families.

Stainless steel material composition
Household stainless steel tableware can be divided into 430, 304(18-8), 18-10 three levels.
430 stainless steel:
Iron + more than 12% chromium, can prevent the oxidation caused by natural factors, called stainless steel, in the JIS code number 430, so also known as 430 stainless steel. However, 430 stainless steel can not resist the oxidation caused by chemicals in the air, 430 stainless steel is not often used for a period of time, there will still be oxidation (rust) due to unnatural factors.
18-8 stainless steel:
Iron + 18% chromium + 8% nickel, can resist chemical oxidation, this stainless steel in the JIS code for 304, so also known as 304 stainless steel.
18-10 stainless steel:
But the chemical composition of the air more and more, some of the more serious pollution of the place even the 304 will have rust; so some advanced supplies will be made of 10% nickel to make it more durable and corrosion resistant, this stainless steel is called 18-10 stainless steel. In some tableware instructions are similar to "using 18-10 the most advanced medical stainless steel material.
Stainless steel can be divided into three categories according to the microstructure: austenitic stainless steel, ferritic stainless steel and martensitic stainless steel. The main component of stainless steel is iron, chromium, nickel alloy, in addition to manganese, titanium, cobalt, molybdenum and cadmium and other trace elements, which make the stainless steel performance is stable, with stainless and corrosion resistance. Austenitic stainless steel is not easy to be magnetized due to the particularity of its internal molecular structure.
